Do not think you are the smartest in the world

Finally, mid year exam is over and has reached June holidays. However, frankly writing, i am not satisfied with my results. Although i get first in the class, i get only seven in the whole level.This is really outrageous.Some more, the top six positions are occupied by 3E1 people and for what i know they are all girls .I am really angry over this and i swear upon this post that i must at least get into top five for final year.People may think i am greedy and want to show off. Anyway,I, KYAW ZAY NYEIN, does not care about any body comments and also can be ruthless and restless at the same time if its concern my pride and dignity.The thing that make me angry is not because of i can not get into top five or three but the fact that the top six positions are all occupied by 3E1.Why must they be from 3E1 and not from the other classes? Even if i do not get into top 10 in level, i will be satisfied if all the top 10 positions are occupied by people from 3E2,3E3 or 3E4.Since the subjects choosing time, i purposely chose core geo so that i will go into 3E2.I really can not stand the word E1 .Why always first class must be top class and the other classes can not be top class?People may say i am saying all this thing out of jealousy. Let me tell you this what ever i typed into this post are all truth and not exaggerating.I also can not stand the people who claim that they are smart without getting first and keep talking about transferring school.Can not even get first yet still dare to say school is not my standard, i do not deserve to be here,i deserve to be in top school and etc.Even the person who get first never say this kind of thing.Let me warn these people with an example "dog will be always be dog whether you go to good master or bad master".The dog just own by good master does mean it can hide its dog identity.You go to good school does not mean you are clever. You may become the last in the class or level. Who knows? Wherever you go, attitude is the most important thing.Without having good attitude and positive mind set, you are just like a beggar on the street.Anyway, i remembered my promise to Mr chew of proving 3E2 standard and make sure that 3E2 will be better than 3E1. I will prove that this will come true. From this post, i would like to encourage people from 3E2 as well as from 3E3 and 3e4 to join together and prove that our classes can be as good as 3E1 and even can be better than them.Let me also warn to 3E1 people who think you are smart and not deserve to be in this school, be careful with your words and arrogance.Later when you go out to the world, you will realise that there are far more intelligent and smart people than you.Do not be complacent.

Piece of Advise from me: see far, stand tall and be on the ground.Do not underestimate people around you.

This story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs.

He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and sold more. He recruited more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from college, joined his father.

Then something strange happened.

The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?" The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son said, "The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times."

The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV. He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colorful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his Hotdog stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly and so did the profit. The father said to his son, "Son, you were right". "We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."

Moral of the Story: It's all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think.

Finally, the tests week is over but i still can not rest because of camps and npcc courses.I am quite worried about the tests result which is going to reveal next week especially chemistry result. Anyway, I did my best.So, even if the outcome is not good, i will try again in next term. Whether it is good or bad, life must go on you can not regret or cry about it because you can not change back.However, you must learn the lesson and prevent it from happening again.I hope i will have beautiful results to satisfy my wish.Whatever the outcome, i must preserve it and if it is not good, i must try to improve it.Anyway now is weekend and it is a relax time for every one. So, I should not think any more about tests, results and etc. Anyway, I will like to make a quote for this post.

Finally, the friendship day is over.Last whole week, I stayed back very late for preparation for friendship day.It was really tiring but it was fun because now at least I know what is decoration.Unartistic guy like me is an in-charge-of decoration committee.it is very funny howevr i must thank wei xian who is also an in-charge-of decoration committee together with me.He guide me along the decorations of foyer.THANK YOU VERY MUCH WEI XIAN.I really can not imagine what will happen if i am the only in charge of the committee.Any way, it is over now and i also would like to say very good bye to korean friends who are going back on sunday.Have a safe and nice trip.We will miss you all and also we will remember our visit to korea.When i see korean student students leaving from our school fare well party to go back to their own country,i also feel like going back to my own country.Every body will say i am stupid to go back there and suffer and ruin my future but i still feel the sense of belonging to my own country.I do not know why before i come to Singapore people said after few years later you will forget all about Myanmar.However, i could not forget at all regardless of my business.I really want to go back there and stay.GOD please help me fulfill my wish.I really hope Myanmar will be better in a few years time.

Should I follow my heart or a brain?

I did not write in the blog for quite a some time.I felt very happy after i received my report book as i can finally rest and can go back to Myanmar.However, i am quite stress now because of one thing.I need to make one decision and this decision is very important to me as well as my parent. This decision will make my life better and i will benefit from it if i thinks it from my brain. However,this decision is beyond my believes and morale if i wants to follow my heart.I do not know what to do.Should i follow my heart or a brain?

I am finally going back to my country after staying in sg for about two years struggling with studies as well as life.I really thinks that this two years are most tiring period of my life until now.Anyway i am glad that i can go back and relax.This is one of my favourite songs and whenever i miss myanmar i like to listen this song.I really hope "country road" will take me home.I hope this song will make you relax as well as myself.

Today is a strange and unlucky day

I went to Jurong library with my friend this morning to study for exam.The library was full with people but luckily we found the free place at basement.After we studied for about two hours, we decided to go and have lunch.After we came back from the food court,our place was occupied by some people.So,we went to find other free places at other floors but we could not find.Now is the part that we felt irritated and angry.We saw one couple(around age 20) sitting on the floor behind the sofa branches.They put their things on the branches and they were not studying at all.They were kissing (mouth to mouth) in front of a lot of people. I felt frustrated when i saw such a thing happening because library is not a place for such thing. Actually,I did not angry with them but with Liberians.They did not say anything about it.Last time, i went to basement(children level) to study because there was no place at other floors.Then,they asked me to go and study at other floors. Some people were doing such thing at library, chatting away and etc...and they were wasting the place.How can i find the place to study?The couple was too much and also the Liberians.I think the library is the place where people can study and borrow books not to do stupid and improper things.However,we just ignored it and carried on finding for free place.Finally,we found the place in "quiet reading room".Then, again we needed to run out of the room.For this incident, it was really funny.After we sat for about five to ten minutes, the old man who was sitting beside us suddenly stood and farted.He farted for about 10 to 20 seconds non-stop.At first, i thought it was the sound of sofa but then my friend told me that he farted.I straight way packed my bag and walked out of the room.I hate the most in my life is farting.He is really rude. There were a lot of people sitting and reading quietly in the room.After i walked out of the room with my friend, he told me that the man did not only fart but he even bend his butt toward to other side however there were people (luckily not our side) and farted.This is really the bad manner.If he really want to fart, he can go out from the room and do or go to toilet.It is just beside the room.I real can not stand this kind of people.Maybe i was in bad luck this morning.I real hope i will never never never meet this kind of people again.

War is one of the most horrible and frightening thing in this world. Even though I never experience it before, I heard about world war two from my grandmother and also read some of the books that described about war. There were a lot of sad stories and miseries behind all the wars. For example, the ending of Hitler, Japan wattacked by atomic bombs, the Korean war, Vietnam war , world war one and two and etc. However among all these wars i think the Korean war was really the most horrible war..

When i went to South Korea, the tour guide explained about the Korean war. After i heard about it, i almost feel like crying. Because of this war,a lot of families were separated. I heard about one true story from my tour guide.

There was a one man who came down to Seoul from northern Korea to do business.

He left his mother at Northern Korea which is his native place.

He told his mother that he will come back when he is successful in the business.

After he spend five to ten years finding money and successful in his business, he wanted to go back there and bring mother to the Seoul.

However, when he was planning to go back, the Korean war broke out.

Later on, he became one of the richest man in Korea.

He requested the north Korea government that he wanted to gave money to his mom through the government.

The government agreed the request but they did not let him see his mother.

He could not even go for his mother funeral.

He said a few sentences before he died.

He said," Even though i became one of the richest man in Korea, it is not worth it compared to losing my own mother.The most regretting in my life is that I came down to Seoul to do business.I should just stay with my mother and go through the hardship together with her."

The tour guide said that this was only a one sad story and there are more sad stories behind this war.I was really sad to hear that and i just prayed that one day the two countries will open the door to each other.I shall stop here and I will let you see some of the pictures taken during the war.

I got this email today and i think it is important to everybody.

Chicken Wings - Its Dangerous

Avoid eating chicken wings frequently - ladies, especially; a true story...! A friend of mine recently had a growth in her womb and she underwent an operation to remove the cyst. The cyst removed was filled with a dark colored blood. She thought that she would be recovered after the surgery but! she was terribly wrong. A relapse occurred just a few months later. Distressed, she rushed down to her gynecologist for a consultation.

During her consultation, her doctor asked her a question that puzzled her. He ask if she was a frequent consumer of chicken wings and she replied yes wondering as to how, he knew of her eating habits.You see, the truth is in this modern day and age; chickens are injected with steroids to accelerate their growth so that the needs of this society can be met. This need is none other than the need for food.

Chickens that are injected with steroids are usually given the shot at the neck or the wings. Therefore, it is in these places that the highest concentration of steroids exists. These steroids have terrifying effects on the body as it accelerates growth. It has an even more dangerous effect in the presence of female hormones, this leads to women being more prone to the growth of a cyst in the womb. Therefore, I advise the people out there to watch their diets and to lower their frequency of consuming chicken wings!

I came back home late today as i was doing video editing in the mac book.However, the mac book real gave me trouble.I could not save the file after i finished my editing.So,I need to do again tomorrow. Today i get one email and it is about something that everybody should know. Even though i am not a very good son, I still think parents real important to us. Not only show gratitude to mother but also to father.Ok ! This following is the content of email. The title is "Eight Lies Of A Mother"

~EIGHT LIES OF A MOTHER~

1.The story began when I was a child; I was born as a son of a poor family. Even for eating, we often got lack of food. Whenever the time for eating, mother often gave me her portion of rice. While she was removing her rice into my bowl, she would say "Eat this rice, son. I'm not hungry". That was Mother's First Lie

2.When I was getting to grow up, the persevering mother gave her spare time for fishing in a river near our house, she hoped that from the fishes she got, she could gave me a little bit nutritious food for my growth. After fishing, she would cook the fishes to be a fresh fish soup, which raised my appetite. While I was eating the soup, mother would sit beside me and eat the rest meat of fish, which was still on the bone of the fish I ate. My heart was touched when I saw it. I then used my chopstick and gave the other fish to her. But she immediately refused it and said "Eat this fish, son. I don't really like fish." That was Mother's Second Lie.

3.Then, when I was in Junior High School, to fund my study, mother went to an economic enterprise to bring some used-matches boxes that would be stuck in. It gave her some money for covering our needs. As the winter came, I woke up from my sleep and looked at my mother who was still awoke, supported by a little candlelight and within her perseverance she continued the work of sticking some used-matches box. I said, "Mother, go to sleep, it's late, tomorrow morning you still have to go for work. " Mother smiled and said "Go to sleep, dear. I'm not tired." That was Mother's Third Lie.

4.At the time of final term, mother asked for a leave from her work in order to accompany me. While the daytime was coming and the heat of the sun was starting to shine, the strong and persevering mother waited for me under the heat of the sun's shine for several hours. As the bell rang, which indicated that the final exam had finished, mother immediately welcomed me and poured me a glass of tea that she had prepared before in a cold bottle. The very thick tea was not as thick as my mother's love, which was much thicker. Seeing my mother covering with perspiration, I at once gave her my glass and asked her to drink too. Mother said "Drink, son. I'm not thirsty!". That was Mother's Fourth Lie.

5.After the death of my father because of illness, my poor mother had to play her role as a single parent. By held on her former job, she had to fund our needs alone. Our family's life was more complicated. No days without sufferance. Seeing our family's condition that was getting worse, there was a nice uncle who lived near my house came to help us, either in a big problem and a small problem. Our other neighbors who lived next to us saw that our family's life was so unfortunate, they often advised my mother to marry again. But mother, who was stubborn, didn't care to their advice, she said "I don't need love." That was Mother's Fifth Lie.

6.After I had finished my study and then got a job, it was the time for my old mother to retire. But she didn't want to; she was sincere to go to the marketplace every morning, just to sell some vegetable for fulfilling her needs. I, who worked in the other city, often sent her some money to help her in fulfilling her needs, but she was stubborn for not accepting the money. She even sent the money back to me. She said "I have enough money." That was Mother's Sixth Lie.

7.After graduated from Bachelor Degree, I then continued my study to Master Degree. I took the degree, which was funded by a company through a scholarship program, from a famous University in America . I finally worked in the company. Within a quite high salary, I intended to take my mother to enjoy her life in America . But my lovely mother didn't want to bother her son, she said to me "I'm not used to." That was Mother's Seventh Lie.

8.After entering her old age, mother got a flank cancer and had to be hospitalized. I, who lived in miles away and across the ocean, directly went home to visit my dearest mother. She lied down in weakness on her bed after having an operation. Mother, who looked so old, was staring at me in deep yearn. She tried to spread her smile on her face; even it looked so stiff because of the disease she held out. It was clear enough to see how the disease broke my mother's body, thus she looked so weak and thin. I stared at my mother within tears flowing on my face. My heart was hurt, so hurt, seeing my mother on that condition. But mother, with her strength, said "Don't cry, my dear. I'm not in pain." That was Mother's Eight Lie.

After saying her eighth lie, She closed her eyes forever!

Reflection of life

I learn something today and i feel that it is really very important to me. I post about the values that leaders should have today and it remind me of my life in Myanmar.Since i was young , i want to lead the people. However, I do not have a chance and i do not know to be a good leader. I have a lot of confident in myself since i was in Myanmar. Actually, sometime confident can lead to the wrong way.In Myanmar, I was very proud of myself and arrogant ( I bet my friend in sg will not believe this). Actually, this is cause by confident that i have. I think whatever i do is right and there is no wrong with me. I am also quite racist when i was in Myanmar.For example, I do not like to watch western movie because their culture is now conquering all over Asia like kissing,hugging and etc. I considered all this as improper stuff. However, after i reached sg, I realised about racial-harmony and globalization.Then, i understand everybody have their own culture so why must i criticise others people culture. I must really thank god. The sg really enlighten me from the dark. May be this is god wish. No wander there is saying "do not be a frog in the well" . The frog in the well only know about the well but he make it very big and want to show off.One day, he went out from the well and saw the outside environment then he realised that he was wrong. Actually, this story is similar to my story. I am like a frog in the story only now i realised that i was wrong. Anyway, let's continue with my earlier part. Actually, I feel that I am lucky to study in YI. I have given a lot of opportunities now even become the school exco member.This is really amazing. When i heard about the news that i become exco member, it is really unbelievable news to me.It is because i think that foreigner will always be foreigner but the school make me change my believing. I must really thank everybody in school. However, to become a good leader i must have the values that i mention on my blog.I will try to be a good leader and I hope everybody will help me in my motivation.

I finally make my new public blog because you all ask me why i do not want to show my private blog (of course i have my own privacy).Anyway, i have created the new blog for you all to see. I hope you all satisfy with this arrangement. It is really tiring to make this blog. I waste around 3 hours to do this.Anyway, I hope you all will enjoy.
